Hotel Azar - Plasencia

The room had stylish furniture, large comfy beds, a balcony, and excellent soundproofing, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.

I like everything about the hotel Azar. It is clean, good service and friendly staff. The food is nice int he restaurant and bar. The man on reception is excellent, and welcoming.

This place has an excellent location, especially in the cafeteria.

It was easy to find as it was just off the motorway

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well. Although it was located on an industrial estate about 1 mile from town, the town car parking was not a problem. ( The Tomtom gps location for the hotel was inaccurate- this is for information only) I would stay at the hotel again

I loved the queen room with a balcony. the location is comfortable and ideal, really close to Bilbao, Spain and Lagos Portugal, the ferry port at Santander, and the restaurant. - the hotel is set away from the hustle and bustle, which means no noise.

The room was amazingly comfortable and immaculate with a balcony. the location was right by the old quarter, taxi stand, ferry, and cafeteria. - the hotel serves a good breakfast. - It is situated on the outskirts of Plasencia, providing a peaceful setting.

Our room was immaculate and good and had 1 double bed and 2 single beds. The location was excellent and super for traveling around Plasencia, right by a quiet area, a retail park and the centre. Also, we were 3 km from a Roman Catholic cathedral.

Rich and plentiful breakfast a lot of meals.

Perfect and marvellous location, easy walk to everywhere. Loved fairly nice area.

The place was nice and fabulous. the restaurant was great. - Lovely folks on the reception desk. - Greatly enjoyed their cool drinks served in the main bar. Enjoy a delightful stay at Hotel Azar in Plasencia! the place is wonderful and the restaurant offers excellent dining. the staff at the reception desk are friendly and accommodating. Be sure to try their refreshing drinks served at the main bar - a perfect way to relax and unwind during your stay.

We chose this hotel simply as a convenient point for a stop-over (350 miles-6hrs with 2 stops, from Bilbao on our first day's journey to the south) close to the main highway. It exceeded all our expectations on all scores. The set menu dinner was particularly superb for cuisine, choice, price, and value for money. A quite unexpected feature was the inclusion of our wine. Had we wanted or known we could have consumed a full bottle of good quality white and red. Added free benefits of staying here were secure parking (no need to unload our luggage) and wi- fi. Staff were very friendly. Our visit was enhanced by a trip into Plasencia by economical taxi providing an opportunity to see the old city with it's narrow winding streets and enjoy a refeshment! Highly recommended

The hotel is excellent value for the quality it offers. The rooms are clean and in good shape, especially the rooms with balcony. In the late afternoon it is a real pleasure to sit on your balcony in the shade drinking your wine or just a beer.The resaturant is excellent and offers great food, meat and fish, and has a variety of great local wines. Try their house wine, a splendid Crianza. The only drawback is the location in an industrial area. You need a car to go to the center of Plasencia.

This place was located in a super clean building and had a great location, just a short walk from a couple of tapas bars 🍷. Plus, it was right next to a restaurant and the historic old quarter.

To review the rooms insulation to noise. We can hear everything from the neighboards.

The room was clean and comfortable and was ideally located for our journey from The Algarve to Bilbao in Spain. We would be more than happy to make a stop over there should we drive down to the Algarve from Northern Spain.

Disappointed with the evening meal and did not feel it offered particularly good value for money. However the service was very good and the food was well presented.Breakfast was adequate but again, not particularly good value for money.
